Comedian and author David Walliams lost his contract with publishing house.
Acclaimed young adult author and entertainer David Walliams has parted ways with his publisher HarperCollins UK, according to an announcement.
A representative for the publisher commented: "Upon deliberation, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was made after an review of allegations of inappropriate behaviour directed at women.
The publisher has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss internal matters."
A Prolific Writing Journey
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies globally in 55 languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins back in 2008.
Some of his books, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
To date, he has released in excess of 40 works altogether, which features a holiday title titled *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins last autumn.

His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE several years ago in recognition of his work for philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This move occurs subsequent to the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss this past October.
